Award Winning International Communication Association Paper

This paper was selected as one of the Top Three Papers in the Popular Communication Division at the 2009 ICA Conference in Chicago. The paper discusses how the media industry is co-opting activity audience behaviors with online media technologies for their own marketing purposes; this includes the utilization of virtual worlds for furthering the consumer loyalty and brand recognition.

Working paper No. 4: MetaverseU 2.0

PhD Seminar: Analytical strategies and methodologies for the study of virtual worlds
